A LifeGroup is more than a Bible study. It’s a place where real people gather in real life to grow in their walk with Jesus and build meaningful relationships. Whether around a kitchen table, in a coffee shop, or on a back porch, LifeGroups are how we live out our faith together.

LifeGroups meet all over the Crockett and Houston County area. Some meet in homes, others in restaurants or on campus at Lifepointe Church. The location is determined by the leader or host home, and we’re always looking for more willing spaces! (Let us know if your home is available.)

Most groups meet once a week for 60 to 90 minutes during a 6 to 10 week session (Fall, Spring, or Summer). Some may meet biweekly depending on the leader’s structure.

You can browse open LifeGroups online or sign up during our group launch season. We’ll help connect you based on topic, schedule, or location. If you're not sure where to start, just fill out the interest form and we’ll guide you.

Expect laughter, encouragement, and honest conversations. Some groups dive into sermon discussion guides, others follow a book or devotional. And let’s be honest… at least somebody will bring snacks. 🍪

Right now, we’re in the early stages of building out our LifeGroups, so options may be limited—but that just means there’s room for you. Some groups are Bible-based studies, others are focused on fellowship and conversation. As we grow, we’re believing God will raise up more leaders and open homes so that anyone who wants to find a group can. Every season we’re working to expand what’s available!

Some groups offer childcare, others don’t. If you’re a parent, check with the group leader or form a tag-team plan with other parents in the group. In some cases, the church may help offset childcare costs or provide an on-campus option for kids. Just ask!

Yes—if you're willing, we’re listening! We are always praying for more leaders and open homes. That said, we do have some simple requirements to help protect the integrity of our groups and ensure strong, Spirit-led leadership.

To lead or host a LifeGroup, you must:

• Be a consistent attendee of Lifepointe Church

• Be in agreement with our core beliefs and values

• Submit a LifeGroup application form

• Complete our LifeGroup Leader training

• Be willing to communicate regularly with the pastoral team

All groups will be prayerfully reviewed and approved by our LifeGroup leadership team. So if God is stirring something in you—whether to teach, open your home, or lead a fellowship-based group—we want to help you take that next step!

We run LifeGroups in sessions, usually 6 to 10 weeks long, during the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Each leader chooses the day and time that works best, and we build in break periods so you don’t get burned out. 

Life happens. Come when you can. But we encourage commitment, because showing up consistently is how trust is built and faith grows.

Not at all. LifeGroups are at the core of who we are as a church. This isn’t just an activity. It’s how we live life on mission, together. Church doesn’t end on Sunday. It starts there.
