Serving at Lifepointe is about more than filling a position. We want every person serving to be spiritually healthy, growing in Christ, aligned with the beliefs and values of Lifepointe Church, and ready for the responsibility of the ministry in which they serve.
The timeframes below are minimum guidelines, not automatic qualifications for placement. Completing Growth Track or reaching a certain length of attendance does not guarantee placement on a Ministry Team.
Ministry placement may also consider spiritual maturity, character, consistency, church involvement, doctrinal alignment, relational health, the requirements of the specific ministry, and the discernment of pastoral leadership.
Pastoral leadership may extend a readiness period, recommend another area of service, pause placement, or determine that someone is not presently ready for a particular ministry.
An invitation or recommendation from a staff member, Ministry Leader, or team member does not constitute final approval to serve. All Ministry Team placements remain subject to the appropriate ministry leadership and pastoral approval.
As responsibility increases, so do the expectations for spiritual maturity, faithfulness, and preparation. These guidelines help ensure every Ministry Team is healthy, supported, and equipped to care for people well.These Ministry Teams are a great place to begin serving.
After 3 Months of Faithful Involvement
As relationships and consistency grow, additional opportunities become available.
These ministries involve greater spiritual influence, teaching, or pastoral care.
Interview, ministry training, and background checks may be required.
As leaders demonstrate faithfulness, spiritual maturity, and a servant's heart, additional opportunities for leadership may become available. Leadership is not based solely on time, but on proven character, consistent involvement, and alignment with the mission and values of Lifepointe Church.
We believe responsibility should grow alongside spiritual maturity, faithfulness, and trust. These guidelines help ensure every Ministry Team is healthy, supported, and equipped to serve people well. Individual ministry requirements may vary based on the needs of the role.
